Story:

A mining company embarked on a study to determine that its conceptual project warranted proceeding to a pre-feasibility study. While the company had technical expertise in-house it lacked an experienced commercial manager with specific commodity experience to ensure sales and marketing inputs into the study were relevant and focused. msi‘s services were sought and implemented on this project which included:

  • Appointed as the client advisory consultants to oversee the collection and preparation of commodity market information for the scoping study.
  • Analysis and interrogation of data sourced from third parties market analytical companies
Result:

The study was completed successfully with accurate and appropriate market and commodity information, with the company proceeding to a full pre-feasibility study, which is currently under process.
